Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Burn ICU setting, managing ICU patients at a 2:1 ratio and med/surg or PCU patients at a 4:1 ratio
- Operate and monitor specialty equipment including ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with a care team consisting of a Charge RN, RNs, and PCTs to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Meet scheduling requirements including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
- Adhere to floating policy; contract labor floats first as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Med/surg experience required to meet patient experience standards
- Must comply with dress code: navy scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a burn unit, ICU, PCU, or stepdown setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Experience with ventilator management and CRRT
