Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed 5th Floor Medical/PCU unit with a patient ratio of 4-5 patients per nurse
Administer and monitor cardiac drips and manage cardiac catheters
Perform chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipid administration
Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment, lifts, and Dynamap devices in daily patient care
Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, RNs, and multi-skilled technicians across night shifts
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Cardiac and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
