Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary Thoracic Intermediate Care / Step Down – Georgia

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, schedule varies. Holiday commitment required: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
Highlights:
- Intermediate care unit specializing in pulmonary and thoracic patient populations
- Diverse case mix including high-risk respiratory patients, cardiothoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery
- Exposure to a variety of respiratory support modalities from room air to BiPAP and Optiflow
- 12-hour night shifts with varied scheduling
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required within specialty
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in pulmonary, thoracic, or intermediate care/step-down unit
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
- Must be available for holiday rotation as outlined in schedule
