Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide PCU-level nursing care to a patient population with a ratio of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when a tech is available)
- Perform telemetry interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring
- Assist with procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Manage hemostasis and hematoma care following sheath removal procedures
- Administer and monitor critical cardiac drip infusions as required
- May be required to float to the Med/Surg unit as needed
Required Qualifications- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience
- Telemetry interpretation skills required - Med/Surg-only experience will not be considered
- PCU level of care experience or higher
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR or ability to quickly adapt to new systems
- No on-call requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience managing critical cardiac drips
- Hematoma management experience post sheath removal
- Strong interpersonal skills - team player with excellent communication and customer service orientation
