Provide direct patient care in a critical care stepdown unit
Monitor and assess patients transitioning from intensive care, identifying and responding to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
Current BLS certification required
Prior experience in a stepdown, progressive care, or critical care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Familiarity with critical care stepdown protocols and procedures
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
