# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care RN – Texas**Start Date:** October 5, 2026 **Location:** Webster, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day and Night shifts available; 1:3 to 1:4 patient ratios; 4 weekend shifts per rotationHighlights:
- 10-bed Intermediate Care/Progressive Care unit specializing in step-down and critical monitoring
- Experience with advanced equipment including BiPap, trach vents, and critical drips (Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, 3% Saline)
- EMR system: Expanse
- Float to IMCU/Stroke department as needed
- Participate in procedures including chest tube insertion
- Collaborative staffing model with charge nurse, RNs, and PCTs on each shift
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- ACLS certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Previous experience in IMCU, Progressive Care, or ICU Step-down settings
- Familiarity with titrating critical drips preferred
- Flexible team player with a positive attitude
