    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed ICU setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and up to 1:3 when no vents or drips are present
    • Manage and titrate a broad range of critical care drips including vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, and anticoagulants
    • Care for complex patient populations including cardiac, respiratory, sepsis, DKA, CHF, and Level 3 trauma cases
    • Collaborate with an intensivist-led team available 24/7, respiratory therapy, PCAs, and unit support staff to deliver comprehensive critical care
    • Assist with bedside procedures including tracheostomies in coordination with RT and the medical team
    • Float to other units as needed, maintaining a reduced patient load of up to 4 patients when floating
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR (recent experience required)
    • Recent experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital setting
    • Demonstrated experience with mechanical ventilation, sedation management, vasopressors, sepsis protocols, DKA, cardiac care, CHF, and respiratory management
    • Must reside or be willing to comply with a 100-mile radius requirement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with cardiac-specific interventions such as balloon pumps, Impella, and tPA administration
    • Familiarity with therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
    • Well-rounded experience with a wide variety of titratable critical care drips across multiple drug classes
