Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Rotation
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to ICU and Telemetry patients including those presenting with CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, CVA, DKA, and post-cath conditions
Manage and monitor chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, femoral arterial sheaths, and TR bands
Administer and titrate critical drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitroglycerin, and heparin
Support patients requiring BiPAP, blood product administration, and care following vascular, abdominal, and GI surgical procedures
Float to ICU-level or lower acuity units throughout the facility as needed
Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
At least one prior travel nursing assignment completed
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Experience with chest tubes, wound vacs, femoral arterial sheaths, and critical drip management
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with arterial lines (Art lines)
Experience with Impella and/or Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
