Registered Nurse – Critical Care (ICU)

South Weymouth, MA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill patients in a critical care setting, including trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, cardiac, and medically unstable populations
- Perform frequent patient monitoring, assessment, and interventions at a minimum of every one hour or more as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be on file and current
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of CCU/ICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for trauma or surgical ICU patient populations
- Familiarity with neurological and obstetric critical care patient management
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
