Job Title

Travel RN – Adult ICU (Nights)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient conditions and develop, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in a critical care setting
  • Administer intravenous fluids and medications, perform suctioning, and treat wounds while providing advanced life support
  • Monitor and ensure proper function of ventilators, cardiac monitors, IABP, and other critical care equipment, making adjustments as needed
  • Observe and accurately record patient vital signs, responding promptly to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
  • Assist physicians with procedures and collaborate effectively with the broader critical care team
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, and serve as a patient advocate throughout the care continuum
Required Qualifications
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an ICU or critical care setting
  • Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care or ICU environment
  • Experience caring for pre- and post-operative patients in a critical care setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care facilities
