Travel RN – ICU (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU/PCU unit serving a lifespan patient population
- Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including DKA, hypertensive crisis, COPD exacerbations, and pneumonia
- Operate and utilize unit equipment including Linet beds and Zoll defibrillators
- Document accurately within the Medhost EHR system
- Maintain patient ratios of 1–2:1, applying strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Float to other units as required per facility needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
- Expected weekly hours: 36, with expected weekend hours of 24
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ICU/PCU crossover patient care
- Familiarity with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
