Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Block scheduling is not guaranteed; actual schedule may vary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed ICU setting encompassing Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma units
• Manage complex patient populations including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, aortic aneurysm repair, and major trauma
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (Prismaflex / NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Float to other units within the facility as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and the Emergency Department, unless on hold status)
• Document and communicate patient status accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York; all active RN licenses must be verified
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU accepted)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 4–5 years of ICU experience strongly preferred
• Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred and prioritized during review
• Experience with IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
