RN – Med/Surg Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 16-Week Assignment | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or a compact license recognized in California
- Current BLS certification required
- Telemetry monitoring competency
- Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
