Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – CVICU

Location

Tucson, AZ | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular ICU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Manage patients on ventilators and vasoactive drips
• Care for post-surgical and critical cardiac patients including post-CABG, STEMI, and vascular cases
• Complete 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per 6-week schedule throughout the 13-week contract
• Float to other units such as Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac/ICU experience
• Proficiency with ventilator management and vasoactive drip administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Open heart surgery patient care experience
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) experience
