Contract | 13 Weeks | 3x12 Night Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical conditions and diagnoses
- Maintain a staffing ratio of 2:1 in the ICU and 3:1 in the SDU
- Utilize Pyxis automated medication dispensing system for safe medication administration
- Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
- Perform neurological assessments using NIHSS (required for all RNs)
- Adhere to facility infection control protocols, including wearing a mask at all times while in the ICU
Required Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Single State RN license or valid Compact Nursing License
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
- Pediatric experience is required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
- NIHSS certification required
- Navy blue scrubs required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a combined adult and pediatric ICU environment
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR in an acute care setting
- Prior experience with Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems
