    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
    • Document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records; complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to start date
    • Float within scope to meet facility needs across up to three hospital campuses within the network (within approximately 20 miles)
    • Adhere to a strict attendance policy; call-ins are not permitted per facility guidelines
    • Wear facility-designated white scrubs and follow all facility compliance standards, including a strict smoke-free/nicotine-free policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unencumbered RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
    • Minimum 18 months of MICU experience required
    • EPIC experience required
    • BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and ACLS required at time of submittal
    • NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
    • Must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation; cancellation if failed)
    • Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required
    • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2 or more years of MICU experience preferred
    • Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
    • Familiarity with annual hands-on nursing competency requirements in a travel or contract setting
