Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Stevens Point, WI

Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-hour rotating day/night shifts | Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed unit encompassing three levels of care: ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg
• Manage a patient assignment with a ratio consistent with ICU-level care standards
• Float as needed to the Med/Surg unit or other regional locations within the south region
• Participate in on-call rotation; if called back, a minimum 2-hour callback commitment is required
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required
• ADN or BSN degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in Epic charting required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and manage variable census environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative, team-oriented approach
