Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) / ICU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) setting with patient ratios of 2–3:1 in ICU/CCU and 4:1 in PCU
- Float between ICU, PCU, and CCU units as required
- Manage ventilated patients and administer and monitor IV drips
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to unit dress code; scrub color is navy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in ICU/CCU or related critical care specialty
- At least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and drip management
- Cerner EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across multiple critical care and progressive care units
- Familiarity with coronary intensive care (CIC) patient populations
- Flexibility with blocked scheduling arrangements, provided weekend requirements are met
