Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 48-hour weeks available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 (ICU) and 1:3 (PCU)
- Float between units as needed, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
- Adhere to scheduling expectations, including weekend shifts per unit needs
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment; module time is non-billable
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU/Critical Care RN experience required
- Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs or Leads accepted)
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
- Facility does not accept candidates with Nursys or background check hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a PCU setting in addition to ICU/Critical Care
- Flexibility to float between units and adapt to varying patient acuity levels
- Experience working in a large health system or multi-facility environment
