Registered Nurse – ICU (Neuro)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Travel
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Neuro unit within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
- Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift in a fast-paced neurological and intensive care environment
- Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed
- Adhere to all required certifications and unit protocols; BLS and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Kentucky
- BLS certification required prior to start
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in neuro or ICU specialty nursing
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
- Experience working in a facility with advanced cardiac or neurosurgery programs
