    Registered Nurse – ICU (Days)

    Somerset, Kentucky

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
    • Manage a patient assignment at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on day shift
    • Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Deliver care within a facility offering advanced cardiac and neurosurgery services, including a Spine Center accreditation program
    • Float within the facility or to designated areas as operationally required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • Current BLS certification (required prior to start)
    • Current NIHSS certification (required prior to start)
    • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care setting
    • All required certifications must be obtained and verified before the assignment start date
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2 or more years of ICU or neuro-focused nursing experience
    • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
    • Experience caring for adult and/or geriatric patient populations in a high-acuity environment
