    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float Pool

    Location

    Silverdale, WA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required; holiday requirement applies

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float across multiple units including ICU, ED Boarders (inpatients only), MedSurg, PCU, and Observation, adapting to varying patient acuity levels and staffing needs
    • Manage patient ratios ranging from 1:1–1:2 in ICU, 1:3–1:4 in PCU or ED, and 1:5–1:6 in lower-acuity MedSurg settings
    • Titrate drips including sedation, vasoactive medications, and paralytics in critical care, ED, and PCU environments
    • Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic equipment including Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, and Impella devices
    • Read and interpret telemetry strips across all assigned units
    • Advocate appropriately for personal skill set when assigned tasks outside of comfort or competency level
    Required Qualifications
    • Current Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • BLS certification (current)
    • ACLS certification (current)
    • NIHSS certification (current)
    • Minimum two years of ICU nursing experience
    • Demonstrated ability to manage Swans, IABP, and Impella, with capability to float to MedSurg for full patient assignments
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
    • Familiarity with RT equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP
    • Comfort with flexible scheduling and unit assignments communicated close to shift start
