Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Scranton, PA

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting with a standard patient ratio of 2:1, with surge capacity up to 3:1
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
• Float to Telemetry unit as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Willingness and ability to float to Telemetry as needed
• Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Open Heart surgery experience
• Impella device experience
