Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Contract)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit serving patients of all ages
- Manage high-acuity cases including respiratory failure and other critical diagnoses
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2–3 in accordance with unit standards
- Document accurately and efficiently using Cerner EHR
- Float to other units as needed, with a float ratio of up to 1:6
- Participate in weekend and on-call coverage as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure meeting all education and credentialing requirements to practice in North Carolina
- Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience
- Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity critical care patient populations
- Familiarity with Cerner EHR platform
