Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting as part of a multi-hospital health system
- Maintain a home base unit while floating to like or lower acuity units across up to 5 campuses as census requires (excluding the ED)
- Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
- Complete all required non-billable orientation modules prior to the documented due date
- Adhere to all facility compliance, float, and scheduling policies as outlined during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of concurrent ICU experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
- 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
- Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates on assignment in the San Diego area for the last 9+ months are considered local and are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Flexibility with a block schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) if needed
- Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or health systems
- Ability to provide interview availability same day and within the next 3 business days
