    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU

    Location

    La Jolla, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting as part of a multi-hospital health system
    • Maintain a home base unit while floating to like or lower acuity units across up to 5 campuses as census requires (excluding the ED)
    • Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
    • Complete all required non-billable orientation modules prior to the documented due date
    • Adhere to all facility compliance, float, and scheduling policies as outlined during onboarding
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
    • AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Minimum 2+ years of concurrent ICU experience
    • Travel nursing experience required
    • EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
    • 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
    • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates on assignment in the San Diego area for the last 9+ months are considered local and are not eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Flexibility with a block schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) if needed
    • Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or health systems
    • Ability to provide interview availability same day and within the next 3 business days
