    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) | Travel Contract

    Location

    San Antonio, TX

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients, including management of complex and high-acuity cases
    • Perform and assist with typical ICU procedures including central line management, bronchoscopy, and bedside tracheostomies
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Float to other ICU units or areas within the facility as needed when census is low, functioning as a competent nurse in alternate settings
    • Adhere to all unit guidelines including attendance, floating, and weekend scheduling policies
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) nursing experience
    • Minimum 2 years of hospital or travel nursing experience
    • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted)
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
    • Willingness to comply with facility floating policy and weekend shift requirements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Rotoprone therapy
    • CRRT experience, specifically with Prismaflex
    • Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records system
