    Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract / Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, managing critically ill patients across a range of acuities
    • Perform and assist with advanced procedures including CABG, IABP, IMPELLA, CRRT, Therapeutic Hypothermia, Rotoprone, and mechanical ventilation
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech; adhere to medication scanning and controlled substance policies
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Float to other units as required in accordance with facility floating policy
    • Maintain compliance with unit-specific guidelines including attendance, dress code, and acknowledgement policies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
    • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / critical care experience
    • Current BLS certification (required)
    • Current ACLS certification (required)
    • NIH Stroke certification (required)
    • Proficiency with Meditech documentation system, medication scanning, and controlled substance protocols
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Hands-on experience with IABP, IMPELLA, CRRT, and/or Rotoprone therapy
    • Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments
