Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in San Antonio, TX

Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, tracheostomies, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, GI scopes, and dressing changes. Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical ICU setting, utilizing strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, tracheostomies, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, GI scopes, and dressing changes
• Document accurately and efficiently using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Float to other units as required per facility floating policy
• Adhere to strict punctuality and attendance standards, including badging in and out and taking a full 30-minute lunch break

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License required — Temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in MICU and/or MSICU settings
• Experience with Meditech charting and order entry
