Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Administer and monitor vasopressors and other critical care interventions
- Float to Med/Surg unit as needed per facility floating policy
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCAs and unit coordinators to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to all unit guidelines, attendance policies, and dress code requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
- Experience with vasopressor administration
- Strong attendance record — candidates with a history of call-ins or no-shows will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
- Critical care specialty certification
- Experience floating between ICU and Med/Surg units
