    Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Contract)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Administer and monitor vasopressors and other critical care interventions
    • Float to Med/Surg unit as needed per facility floating policy
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCAs and unit coordinators to ensure quality patient outcomes
    • Adhere to all unit guidelines, attendance policies, and dress code requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
    • Experience with vasopressor administration
    • Strong attendance record — candidates with a history of call-ins or no-shows will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
    • Critical care specialty certification
    • Experience floating between ICU and Med/Surg units
