    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting, managing complex and critically ill patients
    • Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, tracheostomies, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
    • Utilize Meditech electronic documentation system accurately for all patient charting and records
    • Adhere to unit badging requirements, punctuality standards, and mandatory 30-minute lunch break policies
    • Float to other units as required in accordance with facility floating policy
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-focused critical care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas — temporary licenses will not be accepted
    • Minimum of 2–3 years of ICU experience required
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • NIH Stroke Certification
    • Strong critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to manage critically ill patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Background in MICU or Medical-Surgical ICU (MSICU) environments
    • Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
    • Exposure to Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
    • Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
