    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse – ICU

    Location

    Salt Lake City, UT | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:3 for PCU boarders; 1:1 for higher acuity patients including IABP, CRRT, and open heart cases)
    • Perform and assist with procedures including rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, arterial line placements, bronchoscopy, and chest tube placements
    • Manage patients on ventilators, vasopressors, arterial lines, and restraints in accordance with unit protocols
    • Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
    • Float to PCU or serve as a sitter anywhere in the hospital inpatient setting as needed
    • Work 3 weekend shifts within every 4-week period as part of the expected schedule
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Utah or a compact state
    • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (strong candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered)
    • ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with ventilators, vasopressors, arterial lines, and standard ICU skills
    • Experience with EPIC documentation system preferred
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with IABP, CRRT, and open heart patient management
    • Familiarity with bronchoscopy and chest tube placement procedures
    • Outgoing personality with a strong team-player mindset
