Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting during night shift hours
Float within an assigned zone to various care settings including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry based on facility needs
Adapt to varying acuity levels mid-shift as required, including CNA or Sitter capacity during low census periods to ensure hours are met
Maintain readiness to travel to any location within the assigned zone, which covers up to a 60-mile radius from the zone's city center
Participate in a required week of in-person orientation, including any modules that may begin remotely
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Utah
Current ICU clinical experience
Valid driver's license required
Ability to obtain housing within a feasible distance to support floating throughout the full 60-mile zone
Must be physically present in state for the full week of orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in PCU/Stepdown or Med-Surg Telemetry settings in addition to ICU
Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple care environments
