    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center, managing high-acuity adult patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, DKA, GI bleed, renal failure, cardiogenic shock, and substance abuse/overdose
    • Maintain RN-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 for high-acuity ICU patients, with attendings and residents present 24 hours per day
    • Float to Medical/Surgical units as required, managing up to 4–5 patients with ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
    • Read and interpret telemetry strips accurately when floating to telemetry-capable units
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of continuous Adult ICU (MICU preferred) experience in a single location
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Willingness and ability to float to Medical/Surgical units as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
    • Experience caring for patients with psychiatric conditions or substance abuse/overdose presentations in an ICU setting
    • Familiarity with Level III Trauma Center environments
