    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered care across the ICU setting, with scope spanning adult and geriatric populations throughout the life cycle
    • Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans; coordinate care across disciplines and delegate activities to appropriate care team members
    • Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices, contributing to the improvement of practice standards and the care environment
    • Float to other ICU units (Trauma, Medical) as well as Medical/Surgical units based on staffing needs
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the facility's electronic medical record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
    • BLS certification (AHA or ARC) — required, must be documented
    • ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) — required, must be documented
    • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
    • Epic EMR experience
    • MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
    • Must live more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for fresh open heart surgery patients
    • Proficiency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms
    • Experience with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps
