    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro ICU – Nights

    Location

    Reno, Nevada

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive, individualized nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including families and caregivers, within a Neuro ICU setting
    • Perform ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care utilizing the nursing process
    • Care for patients with complex neurological conditions including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, neurologic tumors, seizures, and post-neurosurgical needs
    • Manage general Medical ICU patients presenting with conditions such as DKA, sepsis, and respiratory illness
    • Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered, clinically excellent outcomes
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level, including potential holiday and weekend shifts
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nevada RN license required prior to start date
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
    • Demonstrated experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post-neurosurgery patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for post-Alteplase and/or post-Thrombectomy patients
    • Experience caring for post-neurosurgical patients with external ventricular drains
