Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1–2 nurses to 3 patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Rhode Island or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Unit-specific ICU experience required
- No on-call obligations associated with this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma ICU environment
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in fast-paced critical care settings
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
