    Job Title

    RN (Registered Nurse) – ICU / Float Pool

    Location

    Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float across ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU units across two campuses, including coverage for inpatients holding in the ED
    • Manage and titrate drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
    • Care for a diverse patient population including geriatric, orthopedic, post-MI, post-cardiac catheterization, and post-CABG (day 3–4) patients, including groin site management in stepdown
    • Interpret cardiac monitor strips; monitor techs support PCU and MedSurg Tele units
    • Operate and manage respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and Heated High Flow as applicable to unit assignment
    • Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including every-other-weekend requirements, holiday rotation with permanent staff, and potential standby shifts
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an ICU setting
    • Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract signing
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated health system facility within the past year
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips in a critical care or progressive care environment
    • Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac patient care, including cath lab recovery and groin site management
    • Experience floating across multiple unit types including ICU, PCU, and MedSurg Tele
    • Comfort with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
