Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week (3 shifts per week) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
- Titrate vasoactive and inotrope medications and manage hemodynamic monitoring
- Assist with and monitor patients requiring chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, and mechanical ventilation
- Operate and troubleshoot unit equipment including GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAPs and Hi-Flows, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres
- Complete bedside shift report and update MyCare boards each shift
- Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in New Hampshire
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Strong telemetry skills
- Demonstrated experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications
- Chest tube experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Open heart surgery patient care experience
- Temporary pacing experience
- Swan-Ganz catheter experience
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse documentation system
