Registered Nurse – ICU / Telemetry (Resource Center)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Telemetry setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma, teaching hospital
- Float as needed to ICU and Telemetry units based on facility staffing requirements
- Accurately document patient care and assessments using Cerner electronic health records
- Adhere to all facility dress code and professional conduct standards throughout the assignment
- Complete required orientation modules prior to beginning clinical duties
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/Telemetry nursing experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Willingness to float to any ICU/Telemetry unit based on facility need
- Availability to work weekends as required
- Must be separated from this facility for at least 1 year if previously employed there before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with Cerner charting platform
- Experience working in a resource or float pool capacity
