Registered Nurse – ICU (Resource Center / Float)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU and Telemetry units as part of a Resource Center float pool
- Float to any ICU/Tele unit within scope based on facility needs
- Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and charting
- Adhere to facility dress code and infection control standards throughout the assignment
- Complete required orientation modules prior to beginning clinical duties
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license for the state of California (no pending licenses accepted)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must have been separated from this facility for at least 1 year if previously employed there
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
- Comfort working in a float pool or resource center capacity across multiple units
