Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, monitoring and managing critically ill neurological patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for high-acuity patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical changes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Texas or a compact license that authorizes practice in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or neurocritical care environment
- Familiarity with neurological monitoring equipment and neuro assessment protocols
- Previous travel nursing experience
