Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Burn Trauma ICU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and massive transfusion protocols (MTP)
- Operate critical care equipment and Burn/Trauma ICU technology; document care using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a team-based unit including charge nurses and patient care technicians on the night shift
- Float to other ICU or PCU units (MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU) as needed
- Meet weekend requirement of 2 weekends per pay period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced critical care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CCRN certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
