Provide direct patient care in a combined ICU/CCU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
Assist with and monitor procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Collaborate with supervisors and patient care technicians (PCTs) present on every shift
Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements and float as needed
Follow all facility dress code standards, including royal blue scrubs for RNs and applicable appearance policies
Required Qualifications
2+ years of hospital experience
2+ years of ICU/CCU specialty experience
Active, unencumbered RN license — temporary licenses will not be accepted
BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
CCRN or TCRN certification
