Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, with a focus on Neuro ICU patients
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in critically ill patients' conditions throughout the night shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to all facility compliance, background check, and credentialing standards prior to and during assignment
- Complete required learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
- Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as part of the assignment schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-local residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
- ICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in Neuro ICU strongly preferred
- Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments is advantageous for faster placement
