Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a mixed critical care unit serving medical, cardiac, surgical, and neurological patients (no trauma). Manage complex cases including sepsis, ARDS, CKD, multi-organ failure, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and bone marrow transplant complications.

Contract | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed critical care unit serving medical, cardiac, surgical, and neurological patients (no trauma)
• Manage complex cases including sepsis, ARDS, CKD, multi-organ failure, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and bone marrow transplant complications
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 20-bed unit
• Float to med/surg (telemetry prioritized) and to the ED for admission holds as needed
• Adhere to all required protocols; ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience with TNK administration for stroke and withdrawal management for OUD populations
• Knowledge of bone marrow transplant (BMT) care
• Familiarity with Belmont Rapid Transfuser, NX Stage CRRT, Arjo, or Stryker Altrix equipment
