    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for assigned patients in an Intermediate Care / ICU float pool setting, with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 (never exceeding 3:1)
    • Manage complex patient populations including Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU-level acuity, floating between IMCU and step-down units as needed
    • Provide nursing care for patients with complex withdrawal syndromes (e.g., opioid use disorder requiring continuous drips, alcohol withdrawal protocols), hypertensive conditions, and DKA requiring insulin infusions and frequent glucose monitoring
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary health care team members to individualize and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
    • Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies and procedures
    • Recognize and adhere to unit-specific exclusion criteria, including patients requiring positive pressure ventilation, dialysis, arterial lines, or continuous therapeutic warming devices
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an ICU clinical specialty
    • Minimum of 2 years of general RN experience
    • Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or Multi-State Licensure (MSL) Compact
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Additional certifications as required per order check
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Experience managing patients on continuous drips such as Precedex in a monitored care setting
    • Familiarity with DKA management protocols including insulin infusions and frequent glucose monitoring
