    Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed ICU with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2; may extend to 1:3 during overflow or stepdown situations, and 1:1 for CRRT and organ donation cases
    • Titrate all critical care drips within ordered parameters, including vasoactive medications, sedation, and paralytics
    • Monitor, interpret, and admit patients to the Phillips telemetry system; serve as primary monitor with remote tele techs as backup
    • Perform care and removal of central lines and manage patients on vents, CRRT, IABP, and post-code/therapeutic hypothermia protocols
    • Care for a diverse patient population including sepsis, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, DKA, overdose, renal failure, neurosurgical, general surgery, and vascular patients
    • Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed; complete EPIC education and general competencies prior to floor assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Minimum 1 year of critical care experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (all must be unexpired)
    • Competency with CRRT, IABP, mechanical ventilation, and post-code/therapeutic hypothermia
    • Proficiency with vasoactive medications, sedation, and paralytic agents
    • Valid, unexpired government-issued driver's license required at time of submittal
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
    • Experience with Phillips telemetry monitoring and interpretation
