Job Title
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Registered Nurse – Travel
Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed mixed medical ICU serving trauma, neurosurgical, medical, adult, and geriatric populations at a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Monitor and manage patients using remote and on-unit telemetry
Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
Float to cardiac and stroke units as needed, with a maximum 3:1 patient ratio when floating; float to other regional facilities may be required with at least 2 hours advance notice prior to shift
Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Maintain active TCAR certification — must be completed prior to start date
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
TCAR certification required and must be completed prior to start date
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Willingness to float between regional facilities as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with trauma, neurosurgical, or mixed medical ICU patient populations
Experience with telemetry monitoring (remote and on-unit)
Familiarity with cardiac and stroke unit care
