    Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Registered Nurse – Travel

    Location

    Parker, CO | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Shifts

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed mixed medical ICU serving trauma, neurosurgical, medical, adult, and geriatric patient populations
    • Maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
    • Float to cardiac and stroke units as needed, with a maximum 3:1 patient ratio when floating; willingness to float between regional locations as needed
    • Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
    • Comply with facility call-off policies, including potential rescheduling on weekends or holidays if a call-off occurs on a weekend or holiday
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
    • TCAR certification must be completed prior to start date
    • Ability and willingness to float between regional facilities as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with trauma, neurosurgical, or mixed medical ICU patient populations
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
    • Experience with telemetry monitoring (remote and on-unit)
    • Prior experience floating to cardiac or stroke units
