Contract | Nights | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed mixed medical ICU serving trauma, neurosurgical, medical, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Float to cardiac and stroke units as needed, with a maximum 3:1 patient ratio when floating; willingness to float between regional locations as needed
- Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Comply with facility call-off policies, including potential rescheduling on weekends or holidays if a call-off occurs on a weekend or holiday
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- TCAR certification must be completed prior to start date
- Ability and willingness to float between regional facilities as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with trauma, neurosurgical, or mixed medical ICU patient populations
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Experience with telemetry monitoring (remote and on-unit)
- Prior experience floating to cardiac or stroke units
