Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active California RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered as a local candidate; locals are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity or Level I/II facility environment
- Familiarity with e-learning and module-based onboarding processes
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new care team environments
